According to Reports, Arsenal Close In On Stunning Trio Of Deals
Arsene Wenger is reportedly closing in on the signing of three new players for the upcoming season – for a bargain basement £36m.
He is hoping to compete deals for Manchester United’s Nani, Nice goalkeeper David Ospina and Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira as soon as possible.
Manchester United winger Nani has been on the periphery of the United squad for some time, and it does not appear that Van Gaal will change that trend.
He has only started 14 Premier League games in the past two season, and Arsenal are hoping to nab the winger for about £9m, perhaps in a swap move that includes Thomas Vermaelen.
Wenger has also reportedly offered Nice £3.4m for keeper David Ospina. The 25 year-old enjoyed an excellent World Cup, and will replace Lukasz Fabianski who left for Swansea this summer.
Finally, the marquee signing that Arsene Wenger apparently really hopes to secure this summer is a £23m deal for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The German would fit in nicely with compatriot Mesut Ozil in the middle of the park for the Gunners, and is reportedly highly rated the Emirates hierarchy.
Would this signings represent good business for Arsenal?
