Barcelona unveil Fabregas replacement
Ivan Rakitic is Barcelona’s latest signing.
Barcelona have agreed to sign Croatian midfield star Ivan Rakitic on a five-year deal from Europa League champions Sevilla. The 26-year-old, highly-rated midfielder started in his nation’s World Cup opener against Brazil last week, scored 15 goals and provided 17 assists last season. He is the club’s first major signing since Luis Enrique replaced Gerardo Martino as manager at the end of last season. Cesc Fabregas left for Chelsea last week & Rakitic will be a suitable replacement.
