‘Done deal!’: Manchester United will beat Chelsea to sign England international, according to reports
They say money talks, and it looks like Manchester United have just shown Chelsea how to secure the very best in English talent.
Luke Shaw will be offered a stunning £160k a week by Louis van Gaal’s United side in an effort to ward off Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. The Metro report that Shaw, who looks set to play in this summer’s World Cup, will be handed the bumper deal after the World Cup. The £8 million-a-year, five-year contract was enough to cool the Blues’ interest in the Saints full-back, it seems.
Absolutely everything between Luke Shaw and Manchester United agreed now. Just be patient and wait for official announcement. Done deal!

The 18-year-old England international will compete with veteran Patrice Evra for a spot in Manchester United’s backline, while Jose Mourinho may utilize Cesar Azpilicueta or Ryan Bertrand after Ashley Cole’s departure.
