Luke Shaw “won’t agree” £30m Transfer to Man Utd, According to Reports

According to reports from the Daily Mail, Southampton left-back Luke Shaw will refuse any Old Trafford deal offered to him unless the successor to David Moyes is confirmed.

Shaw, 18, is United’s top target this summer – with Patrice Evra likely departing Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Manchester United Chief Executive Ed Woodward is reportedly confident in securing the services of Shaw, but the player is apparently determined not to commit until there is a modicum of stability at Old Trafford.

David Moyes was only sacked a few days ago, and club legend Ryan Giggs has taken temporary control of the side for their remaining Premier League matches.

With the club confirmed to be out of Europe next season, Shaw is unconvinced that a move to Old Trafford is the best thing for his career. With the uncertainity surrounding the managerial vacancy, he is even more hesitant to put pen to paper.

Louis Van Gaal has been widely reported to succeed David Moyes, but until that is confirmed it is unlikely we will see Shaw committing to Manchester United.
