Arsenal Race to Sign Prolific Premier League Star Striker

Arsenal have entered the race to sign prolific frontman Loic Remy from Newcastle United.

There has also been reported interest from Atletico Madrid for the French striker.

Arsenal have had a desperate need for forward reinforcements this season, and Loic Remy might provide the perfect antidote for their dwindling offence.

The French international, currently on loan at Newcastle from Queens Park Rangers, has been in fine form this season. He is Newcastle’s top scorer, and has cemented his position as one of the most potent strikers in the Premier League.

His fine form, coupled with an ambition to play for a top club, might open the door for Arsenal to sign the player.

“Clubs are currently discussing with my agent, I am open to everything,” said Remy this weekend.

“I would like to rejoin a top European club to challenge myself at the highest level.”

It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal – still fighting for a top 4 position – will manage to persuade him to ply his trade at the Emirates next season.
