Man United Prepare Stunning Swap Move for Bundesliga Star

According to reports by CaughtOffside, Manchester United are preparing a stunning swap transfer deal that would see Shinji Kagawa move back to Borussia Dortmund with German forward Marco Reus switching to Old Trafford.

Manchester United, dwelling in mid-table mediocrity, are in desperate need of talented recruits, and Reus has been on the Old Trafford radar for some time.

Kagawa, on the other hand, has proven a poor purchase for United, with the Japanese international having little impact when (rarely) chosen.

However, Kagawa remains a fan favourite of the Dortmund faithful, with current manager Jurgen Klopp in particular rating the midfielder highly.

Reus has been a hit at Dortmund, scoring 31 goals and racking up 21 assists in only 79 appearances – but he has reportedly demanded a significant pay rise in recent contract renewal discussions.

Manchester United – desperate as they are – would be willing to pay these significant wages, and with Kagawa headed in the other direction, his transfer fee may be minimal.

What do you think? Would Reus fit at United?
