According to Reports, Robin Van Persie is Ready to Quit Man United

According to reports, Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie is now ready to leave Manchester United after only a short time at Old Trafford.

The Dutch striker is reportedly unhappy with life in Manchester following a dismal showing by his side this season, and former player Ronald de Boer has shed some light on how he feels.

“Robin feels that, unless there is investment in new, young, great players from other clubs, then he will move on,” said de Boer.

Van Persie wants to compete for trophies and everything this year looks out of sight. It’s very disappointing for a player of his quality. I don’t think he’s enjoying the football United are playing.”

De Boer is a current manager of Ajax’s youth side, and there are suggestions that he is a reliable source as someone who is “in the know.”

If Van Persie is truly ready to leave Old Trafford, a number of Manchester United fans will be truly frustrated at his lack of loyalty – a possible trait of Van Persie’s that Arsenal fans will be quick to vouch for.

What do you think? Should Van Persie leave Old Trafford?
