Chelsea Star “Will Definitely” Quit Stamford Bridge This Summer
Reports from the Daily Mail have confirmed that Ashley Cole will definitely be quitting Chelsea at the end of this season.
The English 33 year-old left-back has suffered a torrid time this season, with right-back Cesar Azpilicueta often preferred to Cole by Jose Mourinho.
Despite many insisting that the player is still one of the best full-backs in the world, Mourinho appears to have found a gold-standard replacement in the efficient work-horse Azpilicueta – nicknamed “Dave” by the Chelsea faithful.
There are reportedly a number of big-name suitors lining up for Cole’s signature, most notably PSG of Paris, and New York Red Bulls of the MLS hoping to reunite Cole and former Gunner Thierry Henry.
What do you think? Should Ashley Cole stay at Chelsea? Is Jose Mourinho making a mistake in letting him go?
