Why always me? Spurs join chase to sign Arsenal target Mario Balotelli
According to reports in the Daily Express, Spurs have joined the chase to sign former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli, 23, has been in fine form for AC Milan this season & has garnered interest from the likes of Arsenal in recent months. While the Gunners new sponsor, Puma, ready to financially back a deal for Balotelli, it appears neighbours Tottenham Hotspur want to secure the Italian international as well.
The Daily Express suggest that Spurs would include Erik Lamela in part-exchange for Balotelli. Lamela, who joined Spurs in a £30m, was seen as Gareth Bale’s replacement but has found limited success at White Hart Lane.
