According to Reports, David Moyes handed £200m Summer Transfer Kitty

According to reports from Caught Offside and Football Direct News, the Manchester United hierarchy is set to commit to David Moyes as Manchester United manager and offer the Scot a whopping £200m transfer kitty for the upcoming summer.

This news will likely thrill some United fans, while worrying others as the performances of late have been woeful from the Old Trafford side.

There are significant worries that Moyes is not able to attract big name stars – with the only substantial signing last summer being Fellaini for a massive £30m.

Fellaini has been something of a bust thus far at Old Trafford, and some Manchester United fans are worried at the prospect of the long-term growth and stability of the club being in Moyes’ hands.

Manchester United’s latest defeat at the hands of Olympiakos was particularily embarrassing – and many fans are calling for Moyes’ head, not for him to be granted substantial funds.

It remains to be seen just how much Moyes will be given, or whether or not his tenure will even survive the spring.
