According to Reports, Chelsea Make Stunning £32m Move for Ibrahimovic
According to reports by CaughtOffside, Chelsea are prepared to make an audacious £32 bid for PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Chelsea’s strikeforce has been in poor form this season, with Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba only mustering a handful of goals between them this season.
On the other hand, Zlatan has been banging them in at PSG, scoring a sensational 69 goals in only 81 league appearances.
It makes sense then why Chelsea might consider a move for the prolific striker. However, the rumoured price tag of £32m will raise some eyebrows considering Ibrahimovic’s age.
The Swedish striker is 32 years of age, and would not represent a signing that is consistent with Chelsea’s youth investment policy of recent years.
However, Chelsea are reportedly preparing to offload both Fernando Torres and Demba Ba to prepare for the arrival of Romelu Lukaku and Ibrahimovic.
What do you think? Is £32m too much for a 32 year old? Would Zlatan be worth that much to Chelsea in the Premier League?
