Arsenal set for Balotelli move

Earlier in the month, it was reported that new Arsenal sponsors Puma wanted to fund a deal for Balotelli. Today, it has emerged that Wenger met with the Italian international’s agent.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly met with Mario Balotelli’s agent ahead of a possible summer move for the AC Milan striker. A £25million deal to sign Balotelli has been touted, as the Gunners aim for a long-term Robin van Persie replacement. Puma may help fund the transfer, as reports have suggested, and it now appears that Wenger has met with the player’s agent to discuss a transfer.

Wenger met Balotelli’s agent Mino Riola in London earlier in the week, according to Mediaset, to discuss the possibility of Balotelli moving to North London. It is now up to Arsenal to decide if they will pursue a summer transfer.
