Vidic’s agent told reporters that his client was unlikely to sign a new deal at Old Trafford & Inter Milan representatives met in  Manchester over the weekend with the Serbian centre back.

Inter Milan appear set to offer Vidic a two-year contract worth approx £100k/wk and will hold further talks with Inter in the next few days, according to reports. It is suggested that Manchester United have already rubber-stamped the move.

Nemanja Vidic has collected a host of honours in his Manchester United career: three consecutive Premier League titles (five titles in total), the Champions League, the World Club Cup, three League Cup medals. Vidic joined Manchester United for a fee of £7 million on 25 December 2005. His time at United has been plagued by injuries, but still remains a modern-day star in the eyes of the Manchester United faithful.
