Arsenal Make Sensational Move For AC Milan’s Balotelli

By on February 4, 2014

Arsenal are reportedly preparing an audacious move for AC Milan’s troublemaker Mario Balotelli.

Arsene Wenger has long been in need of cover for Olivier Giroud, and the two players could make a potent strike force in the Premier League.

Wenger is hoping that a move for Balotelli will stand as a statement of intent, encouraging Gunners and media that Arsenal are now ready to regain their place amongst England’s elite clubs.

AC Milan, on the other hand, have been struggling this season. There is a genuine chance that the club will not qualify for the Champions League, despite the refreshing presence of new manager Clarence Seedorf somewhat reversing their fortunes since his appointment.

Milan are 15 points behind Napoli in the final Champions League spot, and failure to achieve qualification will result in a significant financial blow for the Rossoneri.

The Italian club may be convinced to cash in on Balotelli, and Mario himself may well favour a move to a Champions League and Title-chasing club such as Arsenal.
