Chelsea star: I will decide my future at the end of the season

Chelsea midfielder& Spanish international Oriol Romeu has revealed he is unsure whether his long-term future lies at Stamford Bridge, after impressing in Valencia’s victory over Barcelona on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho decided to send Oriol Romeu on loan to Valencia last summer despite the La Liga club’s attempts to sign him on a permanent basis.

Chelsea added Nemanja Matic in the January transfer window but the Blues have been monitoring the former Barcelona youth team star’s progress at Valencia. Romeu will consider his options in the summer, as he told reporters:

“I have no idea [what will happen in the summer]. I need to decide at the end of the season. Many things can happen,” Romeu told Sportsmail.

“We will sit down and decide what is best for me to do.

“They are watching me and they are always telling me things. They are looking after me and that’s good.”

“You never know what can happen, but they are looking after me.”
