Arsenal finally set to sign a new striker

By on January 29, 2014

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Juventus to loan striker Mirko Vucinic until the end of the season, according to reports from Italy.

Italian daily Tuttosport repor that Vucinic is heading to Arsenal, if Juventus give the move a green light. Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that the forward could leave, but continued to be evasive on the topic: ”Vucinic? He will go if we ask him. This, however, has not yet happened”, he was quoted in the Calcio Mercato.

Walcott was ruled out by a career-ending injury and Wenger is left with Podolski, Giroud and Bendtner as his possible strikers. Arsenal need some more firepower.
