Manchester United Striker Appears Set for Monaco Switch

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly keen on a move away from Old Trafford, according to reports.

The Mexican has been the subject of interest for a number of clubs, including Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco. Monaco are now without their talisman Radamel Falcao for the remainder of the season, and are expected to reinforce that position before the end of this month.

Hernandez has scored 7 times, registering three assists in 23 matches so far this season, only 14 of which were Premier League outings.

Hernandez is reportedly frustrated with his tenure at Old Trafford, and is keen on a switch that will provide him with more playing time.

Monaco have officially expressed their interest, and it remains to be seen now just exactly how David Moyes will respond.

Fresh from the cheer of acquiring the services of Juan Mata, Moyes may be set to engage in a bout of book-balancing by agreeing to the sale of Hernandez this January.
