David Luiz is, once again, linked with a big-money move to Spain.

Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino is eager to bolster his defense as Carlos Puyol and Gerard Pique are increasingly injury-prone as they age. Luiz, 26, has been linked with a move to the La Liga champions over the last year.

According to reports in Spain & the Daily Star, Chelsea are keen to let David Luiz leave the club in the upcoming transfer window as Barcelona are hopeful that their £29m bid is deemed acceptable. Mourinho has rarely picked the Brazilian defender, and has favoured Gary Cahill & John Terry instead.
