Chelsea striker set for MLS move

By on December 9, 2013

Samuel Eto’o is set to join a Major League Soccer team.

According to the Guardian, Los Angeles Galaxy, DC United and Chivas USA are potential destinations. The Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire may alos pursue a move for the four-time African player of the year.

Toronto FC showed interest, but the Cameroon star reportedly has no interest in joining a Canadian team. Little surprise, really.

Chelsea will likely welcome back Romelu Lukaku to the ranks in the summer, as he continues his remarkable development at Everton. Mourinho has hinted that January signings are unlikely: ”At the end of the season we will be in better condition to analyse our squad, to analyse the market and, normally, make a couple of changes to improve the team for next season, but this season, we are ready to go to the end with the same people.”

Eto’o out. Lukaku in.
