Arsenal set to bring in Star Juventus Striker on Loan
Arsenal appear likely to bring Juventus striker Fernando Llorente to the Emirates on loan this January.
Arsenal’s scouts have been scrutinizing Llorente for some time, and despite the Gunner’s excellent start to the season, Wenger is still keen to add some additional firepower to his frontline.
Llorente only joined Juventus from Athletic Bilbao this summer, but the Spaniard has struggled to make an impact in Turin ahead of Argentinean Carlos Tevez.
Llorente recently lost his place in the Spanish national squad as well, and with the World Cup fast approaching, the striker will certainly want to demonstrate his form before the season’s close.
Wenger is hugely keen to take advantage of Llorente’s lack of playing time and convince the 28-year old to temporarily ply his trade in London.
