Chelsea’s Brazilian star: Real Madrid is the team of my dreams
Sport Witness run with an interesting story about Chelsea’s Brazilian star Wallace.
In an interview with Globoesporte he mentioned that his dream is to play for Real Madrid. The young defender told the publication: “I’m at a big club, I want to stay here or go back to Chelsea, which I enjoyed. In the future, I want to play in Spain with Real Madrid.
“Since childhood, Real Madrid is the team of my dreams and I’d like to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, but I don’t intend to go to Real Madrid now, I’m still very new and will be in Europe for many years.”
Wallace is on loan at Inter Milan for the season. It would seem rather unlikely that Chelsea would sell him to Real Madrid. It seems that the Blues were keen to send the Brazilian to feeder club Vitesse on loan but Wallace resisted the move in favour of Inter.
On Mourinho, Wallace said “I liked him. For me he’s one of the best in the world.
“He likes Brazilians, he tries to help everyone and in the short time I was there, he praised me a lot, gave me confidence.”
Wallace is trying to run before he’s learned to walk, it seems. Ambitious lad.
