Bad to worse: Arsenal forward could face up to three months on the sidelines
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may miss up to three months of action for Arsenal following an injury.
Oxlade-Chamberlain left the match at half-time as the Gunners slumped to a 3-1 home defeat against; it has been confirmed he has a knee injury. Sunday Mirror Sport reveal the 20 year-old England international left the Emirated on crutches after the game. Wenger and co. believe there is a real concern he has suffered serious damage.
A spokesman for the Gunners said Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury will be assessed for its severity in the coming days. If it is indeed ligament damage it could keep Oxlade-Chamberlain out for up three months.
