Real Madrid exec: Ronaldo transfer to Manchester United unlikely
Manchester United, or any other team for that matter, are unlikely to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in the near future according to a top executive.

Emilio Butragueño, a senior Real Madrid executive, has suggested that the club are thrilled with Ronaldo’s vital input at the club.
“Ronaldo is 28. He is under contract [until 2015] and we are very happy with him. We are delighted he is at Madrid. He is a fantastic professional and very ambitious in a positive way. His contribution to the team and the club has been amazing since he arrived. We are very grateful he came to us. We are very lucky that he plays for Real Madrid.”
The Guardian mentions (link) that Ronaldo stated just two months ago: ”I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid: I’m very clear about that.”
Manchester United would be thrilled to see Cristiano Ronaldo back at the club that moulded him into the world-class forward that he is, but that possibility seems quite unlikely.
