Mourinho: La Liga race is over, time to focus on Champions League
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has conceded that their La Liga title challenge is over and called for the club to focus on other goals.

Jose Mourinho told French radio station RMC Sport: “The La Liga title is impossible now, there is too big a gap. We have to focus on other goals like the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.”
Many pundits and journalists have been clamouring to suggest that Mourinho would move on a new club if Real Madrid win this season’s Champions League. Mourinho continued:
“It does no good to obsess over these things, obsession only makes things more complicated. Nothing will be easy.
“We need to stay calm and make the most of every opportunity.”
Real Madrid are 15 points behind Barcelona in the race for the La Liga title. A far cry from Mourinho’s impressive triumph with Real Madrid – a record-breaking season in many categories. Mourinho will be wondering where it has all gone wrong.
Bookies suggest that Mourinho will return to the Premier League, possibly even to return as manager of Chelsea. Manchester United and Manchester City have also been touted as possible destinations for the 49 year-old Portuguese ‘Special One’.
