Barcelona president: David Villa not joining Arsenal
Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has ruled out a January transfer window move from Arsenal for David Villa

Rosell, said on Catalan Radio Station RAC1, that the 31-year-old David Villa is going nowhere. “I completely rule out the transfer of Villa during the winter market,” “He is ours and we need him, there is a lot of the season left.”
After offloading Marouane Chamakh to West Ham, the Gunners were reportedly keen on signing Villa from Barcelona but that looks impossible.
Adrian Lopez is another target that is high on Arsene Wenger’s shortlist, but after just over a week of the transfer market now complete there has been no resolution.
Arsenal meet Bayern Munich next month in the Champions League round of 16 so expect the January transfer window to be a fruitful one.
